Holes, cracks and water-stained patches, fixed so you have to look hard to find them afterward.
Plenty of houses in Heritage Hill, East Hills, Creston and Alger Heights still have their original plaster over wood lath. Plaster cracks differently than drywall and doesn't take a standard drywall patch well. We re-attach loose plaster, fill with materials made for it, and feather the repair out so it doesn't show up as a flat spot on an old wall that was never perfectly flat to begin with.
Every patch gets primed before we leave. If you have the leftover paint, we can touch it in on the same visit. If the wall will need a full repaint to blend, we'll tell you that when we quote it.
Small holes are usually done in one visit. Larger patches need each coat of compound to dry, so plan on either a second short visit or a longer single day.
In most cases, yes. Send a close-up photo of the wall with your quote request and we can tell you up front.
No. A plumbing leak needs a plumber and a roof leak needs a roofer. Once the source is fixed, we replace the damaged wall or ceiling.
We prime every repair. We can paint it too if you have the paint or know the color.
